Experts Disagree on Covid-19 Vaccine Booster Shots

Medical experts, including employees of the FDA and the WHO, contributed to an anti-boosters piece published in The Lancet. The Biden administration is planning on offering Covid-19 booster shots to the public, but these authors say that there’s not enough evidence to support a third vaccine yet, except for the immunocompromised and the elderly. They also argue that the current vaccines are doing a good job of fighting off the Delta variant, and it’s more important to give those doses to the billions of unvaccinated people around the world.
