2.3 Million Pounds of Meat Recalled for Possible Listeria
By Radiant Health EditorsPublished: December 19, 2021
Alexander & Hornung, a Michigan-based company, has issued an expanded voluntary recall for 2.3 million pounds of meat products. The original December 5th recall only included 234,000 pounds of meat. Although there is currently no conclusive evidence that the food products have been tainted, there is a chance that the cooked ham and pepperoni may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Check the USDA mark of inspection and throw the product out if it is stamped with the establishment number “EST. M10125”.
