Researchers Confirm that Masks Work

A large study conducted in Bangladesh confirmed two previous assumptions about masks: they do help to stop the spread of Covid-19, and surgical masks are more effective than cloth masks. The research included roughly 170,000 people who were given masks to wear and about 170,000 people who were not. Researchers found that masks reduced the number of symptomatic cases by 9%, which is statistically significant.
