A new vaccine called Mosquirix created by GlaxoSmithKline has the potential to be a serious game-changer for millions of people affected by the parasitic illness spread by mosquitoes. About 260,000 children under the age of 5 perish from the disease each year, but the groundbreaking vaccine could save many of those children’s lives
